We take one of the hardest challenges in the Elden Ring Closed Network Test, the guardian that watches over the path to Stormveil Castle: Margit the Fell Ome. No one seems sure why this effect is also connected to the shackle, but like illusory walls, the fire traps can be deactivated with a single sword smack, so it does make some sense. That said your first major encounter as far as storyline bosses go will undoubtedly be Margit, the Fell Omen. This is deliberate, as the two characters are actually one and the same. Elden Ring like every souls game has a slow curve that upswings REALLY hard then soft caps, then soft caps again, then soft caps again. Elden Ring has a ton of bosses that players can come across accidentally in the open world, some of whom may even be powerful late-game bosses. Elden Ring 's first non-optional boss comes in the form of Margit, The Fell Omen, but he bears some striking similarities to a later boss, Morgott The Omen King, right down to some shared attacks. one of his voicelines reveals that Morgott took the name of Margit outside the capital so that people wouldnt know that the new king of Leyndell was an omen, as theyre almost universally shunned. You can also parry every attack with the staff he does. Theres a cut questline where an Omenkiller tasks you with killing omens in the Leyndell sewers. You know the ones: I'm sure like me you've been burned by them one time too many. dude margit is easy you can go to most of the map except maybe 1/4 of the map so look around find a nice weapon and fight him again. Yet another use for the shackle is disabling those fire traps in catacombs, the ones the breath deadly columns of flame down corridors. I don't know about you, but I'm always fearful I have accidentally missed a wall even when I've hit it, just in case I hit it 'wrong'. Actually pretty useful if you want to check for walls without smacking every vertical surface with a sword. This then strikes the wall and registers as a hit, thereby opening the way. Beating Margit, the Fell Omen in Elden Ring Assuming you’ve got the Shackle, along with the Spirits and Rogier at your disposal, you’re now in very good shape to take the W. Among the many bosses in Elden Ring, Margit serves as the first true wall that players need to break through in order to progress through the game. It seems by using it, which involves your Tarnished slamming the item to the ground, the game registers it as a small shockwave of sorts.
